by nature, nestled into the Otways mountains and breathing in the
fresh sea air, you can find yourself again in The Treehouse at Wye
River.
The Treehouse
is a carefree retreat which comfortably houses four adults in two
bedrooms, with views to the beach or through the gum trees.
Wake
up in the trees with the sound of the ocean filtering through the
gum leaves. The parrots and kookaburras welcome you to breakfast
on the deck. The beautiful bathroom has views from the bath and
shower through the gum trees to the ocean.
There's
a big comfortable lounge room with a long, wide sofa and a chaise
to gaze upon the
ever-changing environment or, if you want to read or continue that
jigsaw while someone watches a DVD, there's a long corner settee
to retreat to at the other end of the living room. In the centre
is a dining table for four.
The
kitchen is fully equipped and includes baking appliances. A bench
with bar stools divides the kitchen and dining/lounge area.
In
Winter, while it storms outside, The Treehouse is cosy from the
fan-boosted wood fire. With the ocean pounding and the wind through
the trees you can lounge in the living room, snooze in bed or bathe
in the freestanding bath and listen to the ocean and the magical
sound of rain on the tin roof.
In
Summer, enjoy the heat of the day down at the beach with great surf,
swimming and sunning, and return to the cool of the gum trees. There is also an air conditioner for the sultry summer days.
At any
time of the year the stars at night are spectacular.
If your
pet is friendly towards birds, koalas and echidnas, then The Treehouse
is friendly to your pet. There's a soft red pet cushion by the fire
they can sleep on anywhere.
The Treehouse
is not appropriate for children under five.
