Founded by Joy Evans
Joy Evans established Holiday Great Ocean Road in 2002.
Joy was recognised as a leader in the tourism industry and had more than 30 years experience in running her own property, Johanna Seaside Cottages at Johanna.
Joy was very passionate about the tourism industry, and was awarded the Victorian Tourism Award Hall Of Fame for Hosted Accommodation and the HMAAV for the most Outstanding Contribution by an individual to the tourism industry.
Denis is the General Manager of Holiday Great Ocean Road.
He made the move back to the area in 2009 after years working overseas and interstate. Denis has extensive experience in property development and management in the hotel, tourism and leisure industry, including a role as Venue Development Manager for Tabcorp. Denis brings a wealth of knowledge and business expertise to the team. He is a dynamic leader with fresh ideas who encourages professionalism mixed with fun!
Sharee is the Property, Office & Operations Manager, and has been with Holiday Great Ocean Road since 2003. Sharee’s experience and dynamic management style lends her involvement across all facets of the business including new properties, business development, marketing, liaising with property owners, staff co-ordination and digital platforms. Instrumental in the business growth, key highlights for Sharee include Holiday Great Ocean Road winning the Specialised Tourism Services category in the Victorian Tourism Awards and being awarded the Young Achiever Award at the Victorian Tourism Awards in 2008. A lifetime local, Sharee is passionate about all that the Great Ocean Road region has to offer, and enabling others to experience the area.
Davina has been a valued member of the team since 2010. Davina leads the guest services, bookings and enquiry services, including taking and processing bookings, and guest information. With her excellent knowledge of the properties and the Great Ocean Road region, along with her friendly nature, Davina develops a great rapport with guests and home owners.
Megan joined the team in 2011, and has an accounts and administration role in the business. Megan prepares the monthly homeowner accounts and statements, accounts payable and invoicing procedures, and assists with guest services, coordinating cleaning and maintenance, and bookings.
All staff have excellent local knowledge to help guests plan the perfect holiday.
