Cypress Hill is set on an acre situated just 5km from Apollo Bay on the west side of Marengo.
This modern, architecturally designed house has views overlooking the rolling green hills surrounding Apollo Bay and Bass Strait. The entire front of the house features glass stretching from floor to ceiling - fusing the outdoors with the interior and saturating the large open lounge and dining area (90m2) with natural sunlight. An unforgettable feature of this home is the impressive handmade timber dining table which extends almost the length of the large room, itself creating quite a statement and ideal for entertaining and family feasts.
The kitchen features a statement concrete benchtop, 900mm wide oven and cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, full-size fridge, and plenty of drawers and pantry storage.
Outdoor decks wrap the main living areas on the north and east of the house, offering flexibility and protection from the weather for outdoor entertaining. There are two separate living areas - both with ocean views and full entertainment TV/DVD and a free unlimited NBN Wi-Fi connection. The main lounge has a wood fire as well as two reverse cycle air conditioning units making it a great retreat all year round. Also for guests' enjoyment, there is an 8ft x 4ft Pool Table as well a Table Soccer Table in the second living area.
This spacious house accommodates up to eight guests in three bedrooms. The master bedroom with king size bed overlooks the surrounding bushland and the two remaining bedrooms both have queen beds with the third room also accommodating one set of bunks.
The second bathroom has a separate bath and shower. There is a separate laundry with a washing machine and dryer.
A very relaxing and healthy getaway with plenty of things to do, including walking the Great Ocean Walk; or sitting on the deck, looking over the bush surroundings of the house. There is also easy access to the Otway National Park via the Elliot River track located nearby.
